Thanks to the support of Daniel’s Donuts by LK Group, via its investment arm Queens Lane Capital late last year, it has embarked on a massive growth trajectory, opening 16 new stores in the last 12 months, bringing the total number in Victoria to 30 (as at the start of October 2022).
Daniel opened his first Daniel’s Donuts store in Springvale in 2016 where he introduced new flavours regularly and stood out from the crowd with 24/7 operating hours. From there, the expansion has not stopped. The brand is continuing to evolve and the new stores consist of street front and shopping centre kiosks featuring a fun, sophisticated and architecturally designed look and feel.
Our latest stores in regional Victoria, including Ballarat, Bendigo and Warragul, smashed sales records with customers lining up to get their hands on donuts, pies, milkshakes and barista made coffees. Daniel’s Donuts looks forward to opening more exciting flagship stores in the next 4 months, including two at the T1 and T4 terminals at Melbourne Airport as well as Southern Cross Station. Other stores opening over this period will be at Stud Park, Victoria Gardens, Northland and Keysborough. Adding to this number will be more licenced stores through our partnership with Jasbe, bringing the total to more than 40 throughout Victoria by February 2023. As well as retail, GD Donuts, the wholesale arm of Daniel’s Donuts recently launched Anytime Donuts in 89 Woolworths Metro stores throughout Victoria and NSW.
